VoltApp - privacy policy

This notice describes how Voltscape, LLC (“VoltScape,” “we”) collects and uses personal information when you use the VoltApp iOS application and related VoltScape web products it opens (Board, Calendar, Data Rooms / VDR, Sign, Expense, and related tools). Contact: paul@voltscape.co.

Who this covers

VoltApp is for VoltScape employees and clients. An account provided by VoltScape (or your organization) is required. There is no public self-signup in the app.

What we collect

Account credentials and profile — email, name, and authentication tokens needed to sign in and keep your session.
Business content you access — deals, contacts, files, calendar bookings, expenses, and similar records your role is allowed to see.
Signing data — when you use Sign: invitation email, optional phone number for SMS one-time codes, consent, signature image or typed name, and audit metadata (time, IP, user-agent). See also sign.voltscape.co/privacy.
Device and diagnostics — app version, device type, and crash or error logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, provide the VoltScape products inside VoltApp, keep audit trails for agreements and access, improve reliability, and meet legal or contractual obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us run the products (hosting, email, SMS via Twilio for Sign OTPs, analytics limited to operations, and storage), and with other parties to a transaction when required (for example other signers on an envelope). We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep account, business, and signing records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet business and legal obligations, and support disputes — then delete or archive them according to our retention practices. Short-lived OTPs expire after use or timeout.

Your choices

Contact paul@voltscape.co to ask about access, correction, or deletion where applicable. For Sign SMS, you can decline by not providing a number or by replying STOP to that program.

Children

VoltApp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
